Also known as Golden Nugget. Developed by Dr. James Baggett at the University of Oregon and released in 1983. Prolific, compact plants produce golden-yellow, oval cherry fruits. Flavor is nice and sweet. Regular leaves, determinate. About 65-70 days to maturity after transplanting.
We recommend growing Gold Nugget tomatoes in full sun. They do not require a pollinator in order to produce fruit. Planting and care instructions are included with each purchase.

Not a single seed germinated - seeds germinated at the same time from other seed brands perfectly fine, but none of these did. Haven’t tried germinating any of the other Mertie Mae seeds I got, but I’ll definitely have to keep an eye out if they’re all duds too.

Sadly after two attempts, none of the gold nugget have germinated for me. All of the other tomatoes I ordered are doing beautfully! We really love yellows, so I'm going to try again for fall, maybe they'd prefer under 95 temps to sprout?
