Eva Purple Ball Tomato Seeds -- Organically Grown, non-GMO, Heirloom, Made in Wisconsin - USA

$1.00

Originated in the Black Forest region of Germany in the late 1800s. Brought to America by the Joseph Bratka family of Elmwood Park, New Jersey. Deep pink fruits are mid-sized and round, about 2-5 ounces. Doesn’t crack – very pretty fruit. Flavor is sweet, rich, and complex. Good for canning. Regular leaves, indeterminate. About 70-75 days to maturity after transplanting.

We recommend growing Eva Purple Ball tomatoes in full sun. They do not require a pollinator in order to produce fruit. Planting and care instructions are included with each purchase.

My 4th year buying from Mertie Mae's, but I always miss the review period because I said I'd wait until harvest, and then it is too late. I have always been pleased. The seeds arrive quickly, they come up quickly, and they produce strong, healthy plants that are right variety. I've tried a lot of Etsy seed sellers to help the little guy, and this is the only one I have returned to a second time and more. You can't beat the quality here. More reviews to come in a week or so when the direct seeds that I sowed this morning come up. This is my first time growing Eva Ball, so hoping it is as good as what I've read in the heirloom tomato books.

The seeds were shipped out late and would have been even later had I not try to reach out to customer service to find out what was going on. They said there was a shipping error on their end and said they needed to see if they can ship out that day, and would report back. We heard no updates after that. I reached out via a friend and the seller keeps telling me I should not have done that (trouble finding a way to contact via Etsy) .The USPS service marked it as in mailbox on a Friday and I didn’t receive it till the following Monday so I asked, and the seller opened an investigation and now is accusing me of lying about not receiving it and lying about the seeds not germinating. I have never experienced such horrible service before.BUYER BEWARE! UNPROFESSIONAL! Learn to own up to your mistakes instead of putting blame on others
