Russian Pickling Cucumber Seeds -- Organically Grown, non-GMO, Heirloom, Made in Wisconsin - USA

Cucumis sativa. This variety comes via Daniel L. Flyger, who shared the seed with tSeed Savers Exchange. Daniel received it from his neighbor Viola Neubarth. The variety was brought to Hutchinson County, South Dakota, by Schwartzmeer Deutsch (Black Sea Germans) in the 1870s. Russian Pickling is an early maturing variety, with fruits that are smooth-green and sweet. Has a nice crunch – before or after pickling. 50-55 days to maturity.

We recommend growing Russian Pickling Cucumbers in full sun. They do not require a pollinator in order to produce fruit. Planting and care instructions are included with each purchase.
