US Grown Cinnamon Basil Seed -- Organically Grown, non-GMO, Heirloom, Made in Wisconsin - USA

If you love basil, then your garden is not complete without cinnamon basil. Cinnamon basil contains the same ingredient as cinnamon -- Methyl cinnamate -- in addition to all the regular sweet basil components. The result is a sweet and spicy combination that allows for cinnamon basil to be used in both savory and sweet cuisine. Plants grow to three feet tall, but can also do well in a container if the plant is regularly pinched back. The central stem is a distinctive purple-red that continues into the leaf venation. The plants may be grown for culinary use with the flowers pinched back, or as an ornamental with spikes of purple flowers that attract and nourish butterflies and various pollinators.

We recommend growing Cinnamon Basil in full sun. Planting and care instructions are included with each purchase.
