Brassica oleracea var. Purple Sprouting Broccoli is a unique, colorful heirloom variety that is a delicious garden must! The tall 24-36 inch plants are covered with petite, very sweet tasting purple crowns that turn green when cooked. Hardy to below 10°F, Purple Sprouting is a delicious mainstay for early spring garden. Plant in early spring for late fall harvest, or in late spring for continued winter and early next spring harvest. 220 days to maturity.
