Glade Mallow Seeds

Napaea dioica. Our Glade Mallow is one of the beautiful wildflowers that grow abundantly in the Coulee Region of West Central Wisconsin, and found a place in our perennial garden due to it's wonderful fragrance. The first year's large, toothed leaf basal rosette gives way to 4-10 foot tall stalks in successive years (ours average around 7-8 feet tall). The flowers are small, white, and tubular, and are grouped into compact panicles. Glade Mallow is something that you want to plant directly into where you want to have it, as the hollow tap roots do not appreciate transplanting. Plant with plenty of space around, as the root system has the potential to spread.

We recommend growing Glade Mallow in full sun and moist soil. They wilt quickly when dry. Planting and care instructions are included with each purchase.
